Company History

Hotel Software Systems, Ltd (HSS) was acquired by a group of investors - including the current CEO and partners of AdVantage Management Fund - in November 1997. HSS is a division of Advantage Management Software, LLC in Wilsonville, Oregon.

HSS sells, installs, and services property management software systems (PMS) used by hotels with less than 500 rooms for functions such as check-in, check-out, reservations, and related functions. The Company's leading PMS product also provides interfaces to third party systems such as central reservation systems, voice mail, phone call accounting, in-room movies, electronic key cards, and credit card transactions.

HSS Proprty Management Software is installed in over 4,500 hotels. HSS has made significant investments in software enhancements and its 24 hour technical service and support available 365 days a year.

History

• 1998 : HSS introduced FrontClerk 2000 and - Y2k compliant software with many new as well as existing features of the earlier.
• 1998 : HSS completed the Cendant 2-way Central Reservation interface.
• 2003 : HSS introduced FrontClerk for Windows and FrontClerk OnLine for an internet PMS.
• 2005 : HSS updated FrontClerk for Windows with a 3-tier client-server architecture and SQL database.
• 2005 : HSS completed the Best Western International 2 way Central Reservation Interface using the Open travel Alliance (OTA) standards.

HSS received valuable input from many of you, our customers, on additional enhancements. We are happy to report that many of these user requests are now available in our latest enhancement release.
